Villa Monchique is a privately owned holiday villa in the Faro District of Portugal, within easy reach of Portimão and the wider Algarve coastline. Set in a small, exclusive cul‑de‑sac of just twelve villas, each one individually walled, screened and gated, it offers a level of privacy and seclusion that is increasingly hard to find in popular holiday regions. From the moment you arrive and close the gate behind you, the property feels like your own private retreat, with nobody overlooking your pool or outdoor spaces and very little passing traffic.

You can tell this house is a home to a good family. This is a beautiful home, there is plenty of house items to use in the kitchen. The beach towels and pool towels are super handy to have at the house. Plenty of space as we are a family of 7, our teenagers loved the darts, the table tennis and the piano, nice additional touches to the house which our kids enjoyed. The location oh my it’s beautiful, very peaceful, stunning views, and the towns are close enough but still nice and rural, which is what we like, felt like we got the Portuguese culture from staying here, we took frequent walks around the neighbour nearby. The pool is a great size and the kids loved it, our favourite part of the house was the outdoor seating area, this is where we spent nights playing uno and games. I would highly recommend this house and Simon is very responsive and attentive.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this beautiful villa. It was perfect for families with fantastic outdoor space including a well designed pool (perfect for kids) and different areas to relax. Location was good with easy access by car to attractions/amenities and a lovely restaurant in walking distance. Simon was responsive too- thank you very much, we had an incredible holiday!
